Manfrotto, a leading global innovator and manufacturer of premium photo, video and lighting support products and accessories, proudly announces that the 190go! Carbon Fiber has won the prestigious 2016 TIPA Award as Best Tripod.
Member editors of TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) – the world’s number one independent organization of photo and imaging magazines – recently gathered in San Francisco to vote the best photo and imaging products launched by the industry in the last 12 months. In their official statement, TIPA gave the following reasons for awarding the Best Tripod prize to the 190go! Carbon Fiber: “Manfrotto has responded with an emphatic GO with their new 190go! Carbon, a full featured tripod that is light and collapses down to a very portable size”. The endorsement recognizes the extreme compactness, lightness stability and sturdiness that have made the 190go! a resounding success with photographers and videographers around the world.
The 190go! Carbon Fiber features easy-to-use twist lock legs for portability and compactness, an ergonomic one-hand opening, a 90 degree center column that can be used for horizontal and macro work, and four ergonomic leg angle selectors for quick leg positioning.
This tripod goes down to a lower shooting height than any other tripod (7 cm/2.76in), extends to a maximum height of 57 in. (147 cm) yet collapses down to just over 18.7 in. (47 cm). The 190go! Carbon Fiber weighs only 2.9 lbs. (1.4 kg) and supports up to 15.43 lbs. (7 kg).
Made in Italy, the Manfrotto 190go! is a carefully designed and superbly crafted tripod that derives its clean line and neat shapes from its function. Premium materials and advanced engineering processes guarantee maximum quality.
The 190go! is also available in Aluminum. Both the Carbon Fiber and Aluminum versions are available in Kits, consisting of a 190go! tripod and ball head or 3-way head. The 190go! family is available nationwide and ranges in price from $199.99 to $469.99.
The TIPA Award trophy was presented to Manfrotto at Photokina in Cologne, Germany on September 20th, 2016.
